Emanuel Lutheran Church was established in 1882 at the corner of West Clinton and North Scott streets in Napoleon, Ohio.The original church burned in 1916 and the current facility was dedicated for service on November 17, 1918. Pastor Louis Damman 1882-1898 While serving St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover Settlement first organized the Lutheran Group in Napoleon, Ohio which became known as Emanuel Lutheran Church.
